Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Feliberto Montez made the kick off which started today's match. Honorio Chepe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Gagoneta FC booed when Chicoana AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Lertxun didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Victoriano Atarrabi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Samuel Lehoi to make any attempt to save it. Andres Geofredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliberto Montez's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 10th match minute, Chicoana AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Oihenarte to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Chicoana AFC's zone, Isidro Pereyra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Lehoi came out of the goal and Isidro Pereyra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Chicoana AFC's Artemio Lertxun got a free kick in the 13th minute. A long shot from Isidro Pereyra in the 14th minute of play was well struck, but Samuel Lehoi made a really good save at the right post. After 18 minutes of play, Gagoneta FC's Honorio Chepe made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Lehoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isidro Pereyra kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Victoriano Atarrabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Samuel Lehoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Chicoana AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Atarrabi came free, but Samuel Lehoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Feliberto Montez fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chicoana AFC's protests and gave Feliberto Montez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Feliberto Montez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gagoneta FC's Silvano Martxel got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Gagoneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Weterio came free, but Andres Geofredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Sabin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victoriano Atarrabi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samuel Lehoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Martxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, Silvano Martxel made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Lehoi. Chicoana AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 57thth minute of the game Feliberto Montez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gagoneta FC's Andres Geofredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Marcos Weterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gagoneta FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Isidro Pereyra hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Weterio in the 61st minute of play forced Gagoneta FC's goalkeeper Andres Geofredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Weterio during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chicoana AFC's Marcos Weterio got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Victoriano Atarrabi might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Lehoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victoriano Atarrabi ran back to his position shaking his head. Gagoneta FC's Silvano Martxel suffered a concussion in the 65th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Artemio Lertxun fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chicoana AFC's protests and gave Artemio Lertxun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th match minute, Chicoana AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Lertxun to maneuver through the defense. Artemio Lertxun hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chicoana AFC's zone, Honorio Chepe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. With his leg Andres Geofredo managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Chicoana AFC's Feliberto Montez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Feliberto Montez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Andres Geofredo made a huge save. Feliberto Montezs short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Andres Geofredo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 87 minutes, Feliberto Montez made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Gagoneta FC's Andres Geofredo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Atarrabi in the 93rd minute of play forced Chicoana AFC's goalkeeper Samuel Lehoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Venerando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Gagoneta FC were the better team. Gagoneta FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
