Atilano Rico hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. A collision led to Parque General Paz getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Astor Perro hit a great ball. Alberto Weather kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Jasimaná's Zeledon Librado, in the 9th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Jasimaná. After 10 played minutes Parque General Paz got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Rico. Carlos Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Bonifaco in the 12th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Dalmacio Urtats elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Parque General Paz's Atilano Rico seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Atilano Rico the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Parque General Paz protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Atilano Rico had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 23 minutes into the game, one of Parque General Paz:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Carlos Amor went to the wrong direction when Hernan Ieltxu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Aquila Meto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Nunes in the 32nd minute of play forced Jasimaná's goalkeeper Emilio Pacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Ricart kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Amor. That made the score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. When Hipolito Bonifaco came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Jasimaná fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito Bonifaco couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jasimaná's Paulo Ricart slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Amor. That made the score 3-0 after 43 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquila Meto in the 55th minute of play forced Jasimaná's goalkeeper Emilio Pacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aquila Meto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquila Meto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Emilio Pacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Parque General Paz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano de Salles to maneuver through the defense. Aquila Meto hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Carlos Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Ricart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Aquila Meto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emilio Pacho. That made the score 3-1 in the 76 minute of play. After 81 played minutes Jasimaná got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Resto. Paulo Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Aquila Meto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parque General Paz's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquila Meto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Pacho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the game, Abel Pelagius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jasimaná's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Parque General Paz the free kick. Abel Pelagius kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Zeledon Librado kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jasimaná's zone, Aquila Meto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Pacho came out of the goal and Aquila Meto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Ricart took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Amor. Carlos Amor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1.
