The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Carpinteros lml's goalkeeper Arnaldo Demesio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haroldo Nahia. Lisandro Santxol kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Armando Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Demesio having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Haroldo Nahia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Curtiembre FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Nahia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Endura Arreguia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Santxol in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, La Curtiembre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Baristo to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

A collision led to La Curtiembre FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Humberto Lidon hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Carpinteros lml's Matias Sedeni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Endura Arreguia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Endura Arreguia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Sedeni went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Lisandro Santxol's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Endura Arreguia firmly grabbed it by the left post. Haroldo Nahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Demesio having to interfere. Lisandro Santxol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Endura Arreguia made a huge save. Ruben Louis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo Nahia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnaldo Demesio having to make a save. Blas Idacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes Carpinteros lml got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Perutxo. Haroldo Nahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Haroldo Nahia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo Demesio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Lisandro Santxol came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Carpinteros lml fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Santxol couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that La Curtiembre FC were the better team. La Curtiembre FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
