Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 80) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Delmiro Pereyra kicked off to start the match. If Elvio Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Teobaldo Rojelio got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 7 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Benito Hanni. If Delmiro Pereyra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 minutes, Delmiro Pereyra made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Progresso's Jorge Mino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Pereyra in the 20th minute of play forced Progresso's goalkeeper Jorge Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Ixidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Mino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Pereyra, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Emiliano Ixidor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Mino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Joel Grabiel in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Racing Club's Americo Cristofol. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmiro Pereyra in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Mino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute, Emiliano Ixidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Ixidor in the 34th minute of play forced Progresso's goalkeeper Jorge Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Victorio Luke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Mino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Delmiro Pereyra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Progresso's Jorge Mino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelino Orlin lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Progresso fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romeo Bittor to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmiro Pereyra got free with Jorge Mino in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delmiro Pereyra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Mino having to make a save. Jorge Mino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Ixidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Progresso getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Joel Grabiel hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Amadeo Rik got a free kick in the 60th minute. Emiliano Ixidor might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Mino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiliano Ixidor ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Jorge Mino managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Racing Club's Delmiro Pereyra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Victorio Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Ixidor charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliano Ixidor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Ixidor. Delmiro Pereyra struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Jorge Mino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. Emiliano Ixidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Mino having to interfere. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Progresso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Quinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Delmiro Pereyra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jorge Mino. Delmiro Pereyra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Jorge Mino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Pereyra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmiro Pereyra did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Jorge Mino 85 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Progresso's goalkeeper Jorge Mino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmiro Pereyra. Delmiro Pereyra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Mino having to interfere. Progresso's Jorge Mino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Pereyra in the 95th minute of play.
