Spectators: 7411 (Terracing: 5559, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eloy Videl kicked off to start the match. Filomeno Gaztea hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Palomitas's zone, Emilio Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Francis came out of the goal and Emilio Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Palomitas defense, Emilio Godoy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Francis. The Palomitas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Francis should have stopped the shot. Sohcahtoa08's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Filomeno Gaztea scored to the left of an out of position Tiburcio Monte, making the score, 1-1. Norberto Francis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Felipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Palomitas getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Israel Iyan hit a great ball. Eloy Videl was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Palomitas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, Sohcahtoa08's Tiburcio Monte got control of the ball when Angel-Abel Del Fierro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Saturnino Txatxu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiburcio Monte. Sohcahtoa08's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saturnino Txatxu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Angel-Abel Del Fierro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Tiburcio Monte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sohcahtoa08's Tiburcio Monte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Gaztea in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ladislao Milio to make the kick off. Angel-Abel Del Fierro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hector Goren's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Tiburcio Monte on his right side and into the goal. 59 minutes into the game it was 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Gaztea in the 62nd minute of play forced Sohcahtoa08's goalkeeper Tiburcio Monte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Angel-Abel Del Fierro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiburcio Monte was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Tiburcio Monte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Gaztea, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Palomitas were furious when Emanuel Mannie was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 85th match minute, Palomitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Mannie to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Palomitas's Norberto Francis got control of the ball when Delmiro Beila tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Sohcahtoa08's Victorio Tavio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norberto Francis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Saturnino Txatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Filomeno Gaztea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-2. Tiburcio Monte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Palomitas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
