Alvaro Eguntsenti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Daniel Gniewek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marciano Efren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Jerold in the 18th minute of the match. Marciano Efren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Lia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uriel Aznaro in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Gniewek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Gniewek didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Esteco's Erasmo Gonsalvo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Erasmo Gonsalvo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marciano Efren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Mitxaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Marciano Efren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaypón's Nestor Mitxaut got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uriel Aznaro in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Gniewek saved Gaypón from getting behind. If Cipriano Jerold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteco's Marciano Efren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Perez in the 61st minute of play. Alvaro Eguntsenti's late challenge caught a Gaypón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvaro Eguntsenti helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Esteco getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Alvaro Eguntsenti hit a great ball. After 65 minutes of play Esteco's Alvaro Eguntsenti was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 65 played minutes Esteco got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Eguntsenti. 73 minutes into the match, Esteco's Erasmo Gonsalvo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Gniewek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Esteco getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Zeledon Otsando hit a great ball. Cipriano Jerold in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marciano Efren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marciano Efren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Jerold in the 78th minute. When Uriel Aznaro fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esteco's protests and gave Uriel Aznaro a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Esteco got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Aznaro. Marciano Efren came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Gaypón's Roman Lia. But to his dismay, Roman Lia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Elpidio Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Marciano Efren made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Gaypón's zone, Flavio Fanuco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Gniewek came out of the goal and Flavio Fanuco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute of the match Marco Lia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marciano Efren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marciano Efren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Jerold in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Lia in the 98th minute of play forced Esteco's goalkeeper Marciano Efren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gaypón walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
