In the 9th match minute, D.H. Pergamino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Segio to maneuver through the defense. After 14 minutes, Emanuel Bitxintxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mendoneu and the D.H. Pergamino players grew even worse after the yellow card. Camilo Gaur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garaona Angeles's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Fausto Ferrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Senin in the 21st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Guillermo Madaleno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fausto Ferrando. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Fausto Ferrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Madaleno, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Uriel Arriba's late challenge caught a D.H. Pergamino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uriel Arriba helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Mendoneu got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Arriba. In the 34th minute, D.H. Pergamino's Alfonso Papo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fausto Ferrando. Fausto Ferrando yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Garaona Angeles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Madaleno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Fausto Ferrando made a huge save. Garaona Angeles might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Gaur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garaona Angeles ran back to his position shaking his head.

Marcelo Gilesindo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Camilo Gaur made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Cosme Horado sent off a good shot on target. Guillermo Madaleno hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Garaona Angeles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garaona Angeles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Camilo Gaur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Alfonso Papo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Ferrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Ferrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Papo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Madaleno in the 79th minute of play forced Mendoneu's goalkeeper Fausto Ferrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Garaona Angeles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Bitxintxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardino Pere struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Camilo Gaur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mendoneu. Fausto Ferrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Gilesindo in the 94th minute of play. Mendoneu's Fausto Ferrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Gilesindo in the 95th minute of play. Mendoneu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
