Teodoro Amor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cristobal Gaufred tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Christian Geofredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zacarias Elia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Geofredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. In the 27th minute Braulio Tonete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Amor's late challenge caught a Instituto Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Amor helped the player get up and apologised. Teodoro Amor kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Braulio Tonete scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristobal Gaufred, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 43 minutes, Christian Geofredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chañarense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Geofredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Christian Geofredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Aureliano Ayuso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Federigo in the 56th minute of the match. Teodoro Amor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodoro Amor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Cristobal Gaufred when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Gogo Gabirel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chañarense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Gabirel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Gaufred breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chañarense FC's Christian Geofredo got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zacarias Elia charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zacarias Elia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Instituto Plate booed when Chañarense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Elia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zacarias Elia struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Cristobal Gaufred didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chañarense FC. In the 82nd minute, Chañarense FC's Zacarias Elia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristobal Gaufred. Cristobal Gaufred yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Instituto Plate's zone, Teodoro Amor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Gaufred came out of the goal and Teodoro Amor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Geofredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Braulio Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Instituto Plate's zone, Christian Geofredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Gaufred came out of the goal and Christian Geofredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Hondo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
