Spectators: 7359 (Terracing: 5520, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 147) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Garaona Angeles made the kick off which started today's match. Fausto Ferrando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afiq Phua's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the game, Tammo Zippel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fausto Ferrando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Afiq Phua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Fausto Ferrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Fernan Gomez throw himself and got hold of the ball when Garaona Angeles in the 15thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Mendoneu were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Cordoba FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Birger Almqvist took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Cosme Horado managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Fausto Ferrando came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Cordoba FC's Ildefonso Evis. But to his dismay, Ildefonso Evis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Fausto Ferrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afiq Phua, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Fernan Gomez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garaona Angeles's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Mendoneu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garaona Angeles to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Ferrando came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Cordoba FC's Ildefonso Evis. But to his dismay, Ildefonso Evis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 39th minute Tammo Zippel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Ferrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, Cordoba FC's Tammo Zippel made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Ferrando was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute, Tammo Zippel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cordoba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ildefonso Evis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Unax charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Unax the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mendoneu booed when Cordoba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Unax didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Atarrabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fausto Ferrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ildefonso Evis scored 0-6 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Ferrando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Fausto Ferrando successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ildefonso Evis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Fausto Ferrando made a huge save. Mendoneu's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tammo Zippel 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. In the 83rd minute, Tammo Zippel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fausto Ferrando was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Braulio Olayo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mendoneu's zone, Francisco Sotil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Ferrando came out of the goal and Francisco Sotil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fausto Ferrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afiq Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tammo Zippel in the 94th minute of play forced Mendoneu's goalkeeper Fausto Ferrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cordoba FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
