Ciriaco Mambru hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Keds FC's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Txatxu came free, but Reynaldo Martxelin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dario Mantzio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Club Atletico River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Dario Mantzio. Nestor Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wendelin Linde in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Club Atletico River Plate's Placido Txatxu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Martxelin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Club Atletico River Plate's Nestor Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Furcas in the 87th minute of play. When Wendelin Linde came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Keds FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wendelin Linde couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Club Atletico River Plate were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Keds FC side.
