Sacahumo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Gudesteo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Rocendo in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Gudesteo in the 20th minute of play forced Boca Jr. FC's goalkeeper Mutlu Dicle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Teo Tercero made a precise shot to the right of Dante Donio. Sacahumo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 26th match minute, Sacahumo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Senon to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Tercero in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Donio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teo Tercero took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Donio. Dante Donio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5.

Cecilio Lando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Dante Donio made a huge save. After 57 minutes, Jairo Santiago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sacahumo FC and the Boca Jr. FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sacahumo FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jairo Santiago hit a great ball. Teo Tercero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Donio having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sacahumo FC defense, Dalmacio Rocendo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Donio. The Sacahumo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Donio should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sacahumo FC's goalkeeper Dante Donio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dante Donio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teo Tercero went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Teo Tercero might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Donio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teo Tercero ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Rocendo got free with Dante Donio in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
