The SPortivo Moretti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Rivas should have stopped the shot. SPortivo Moretti's Zeledon Rivas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Garci in the 16th minute of play. Zeledon Rivas was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Filomeno Gipuzkoa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filomeno Gipuzkoa really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 23 played minutes Dragon Azzurro FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Bras. After a defensive mix-up in Dragon Azzurro FC's zone, Mariano Loren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gonzo came out of the goal and Mariano Loren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filomeno Gipuzkoa got free with Zeledon Rivas in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zeledon Rivas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Garci in the 34th minute of the match. Pascual Silbestre hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th match minute, Dragon Azzurro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Silbestre to maneuver through the defense. SPortivo Moretti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Loren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evelio Garci to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored SPortivo Moretti's protests and gave Tadeo Iago a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Dragon Azzurro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Garci to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Mariano Loren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Joaquin Gonzo managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when SPortivo Moretti's Mariano Loren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evelio Garci in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Rivas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd match minute, SPortivo Moretti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Loren to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th match minute, Dragon Azzurro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Silbestre to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Rivas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Joaquin Gonzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Loren in the 89th minute.
