After having played for 6 minutes, Gilmar Sobrino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilmar Sobrino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute Justino Timo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Cordeara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Ulizes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Matteo in the 18th minute of the match. Danilo Ulizes made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Mateo Quin sent off a good shot on target. When Florentino Damario fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maya FC's protests and gave Florentino Damario a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Maya FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Florentino Damario hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, Isaias Turi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chañarense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maya FC the free kick. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Cesar Mateo fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chañarense's protests and gave Cesar Mateo a yellow card for diving instead. Cesar Mateo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Gilmar Sobrino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliseo Matteo to strike the kick off in the second half. Ezequiel Florin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Angelino Cordeara made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gilmar Sobrino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maya FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilmar Sobrino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Cordeara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilmar Sobrino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelino Cordeara having to make a save. Ezequiel Florin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Angelino Cordeara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gilmar Sobrino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Chañarense defense, Ezequiel Florin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelino Cordeara. The Chañarense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelino Cordeara should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Gilmar Sobrino notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Chañarense's Angelino Cordeara. Angelino Cordeara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th minute, Gilmar Sobrino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the game, Gilmar Sobrino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angelino Cordeara. Gilmar Sobrino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Gilmar Sobrino managed to get in a good position for a shot.
