Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvestre Paez started the match with the kick off. The supporters of La Bilardeta booed when Elida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Atarratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leon Beti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Txatxu in the 4th minute of the match. La Bilardeta's Maximo Kepa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Paez in the 19th minute of play. Hernan Benat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Leon Beti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Paez in the 26th minute of play forced La Bilardeta's goalkeeper Maximo Kepa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Mirande kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Carlos Sadurni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Hernan Benat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Hernan Benat made a precise shot to the right of Leon Beti. Elida's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 45 minutes into the game, Hernan Benat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Bilardeta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elida the free kick. A collision led to La Bilardeta getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Hernan Benat hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernan Benat to make the kick off. Maximo Kepa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Paez in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, La Bilardeta's Froilan Eutor got a free kick in the 53rd minute. La Bilardeta's Maximo Kepa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Paez in the 56th minute of play. Froilan Eutor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Carlos Sadurni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Benat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Guillelmo struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Maximo Kepa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elida. 70 minutes into the match, La Bilardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Guillelmo came free, but Maximo Kepa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Benat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Beti having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Jorge Guillelmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Guillelmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, La Bilardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Paez came free, but Maximo Kepa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Benat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Beti having to interfere. If Froilan Eutor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
