Spectators: 7327 (Terracing: 5497, Seating: 1685, VIP seats: 145) Avellaneda FC's Gregorio Bernaldo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marciano Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Patricio Natanael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Primo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Gurutz having to interfere. The supporters of Favorina booed when Avellaneda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregorio Bernaldo took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adan Ariando. Adan Ariando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Maximino Gurutz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eriberto Primo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. In the 36th minute, Gregorio Bernaldo made a precise shot to the right of Adan Ariando. Favorina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 40 played minutes Avellaneda FC got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Romero. Maximino Gurutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Primo in the 42nd minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eriberto Primo made a kick off. Eriberto Primo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Maximino Gurutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Favorina's Adan Ariando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Favorina from getting a goal against them. After 56 minutes, Teodosio Etxahun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avellaneda FC and the Favorina players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Favorina defense, Marciano Romero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adan Ariando. The Favorina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adan Ariando should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute, Favorina's Albano Columbo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Albano Columbo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Favorina protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Albano Columbo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 71 minutes into the match, Avellaneda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Ledesma came free, but Maximino Gurutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Ariando having to interfere. Rosendo Sindo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Santo Abeita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregorio Bernaldo in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adan Ariando saved Favorina from getting behind. Eliseo Oidor scored 2-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Gurutz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gregorio Bernaldo got in the 91st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Adan Ariando handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Marciano Romero scored 2-4 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adan Ariando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
