Prudencio Pueblos short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Carlos Gustavo Aceituno to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 10 played minutes La coca F.C got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Poz. In the 17th minute Adan Aztore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Elequemedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Elequemedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Gorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Elequemedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Aztore, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, La coca F.C's Edelmiro Cordarius got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Martin Iaki got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomiro Naelio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nemesio Gaitan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Martin Iaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nemesio Gaitan hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Urbano Poz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Gaitan in the 63rd minute of play forced La coca F.C's goalkeeper Carlos Gustavo Aceituno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The coaching staff of La coca F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Severo Guter had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 70th minute, Severo Guter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Rafael Micael managed to get in a good position for a shot. La coca F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Micael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Elequemedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urbano Poz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urbano Poz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Elequemedo having to interfere. Reynaldo Elequemedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Micael in the 84th minute of play. Carlos Gustavo Aceituno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Naelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, La coca F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Naelio came free, but Carlos Gustavo Aceituno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Prudencio Pueblo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Gustavo Aceituno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92ndth minute of the game Prudencio Pueblo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La coca F.C's Carlos Gustavo Aceituno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Independiente's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
