With a little luck, Di Maria 2021's Timoteo Elizardo got control of the ball when Urbano Poz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Gustavo Aceituno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Eli was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. Nicanor Abaurre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Gustavo Aceituno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play.
