Pablo Austin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Tiadoro having to interfere. Anacleto Taurino's late challenge caught a Eam's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anacleto Taurino helped the player get up and apologised. Anacleto Taurino kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Ismael Colas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Austin in the 42nd minute of play forced Josefina's goalkeeper Santos Tiadoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Eam players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Josefina were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pablo Austin made a kick off. Moises Abeitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Colas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eam's goalkeeper Moises Abeitia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santos Tiadoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Rosio in the 62nd minute of the match. Eam's Moises Abeitia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Eam from getting a goal against them. Gonzalo Tipi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Moises Abeitia made a huge save. If Pablo Austin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Tabby in the 82nd minute of play forced Eam's goalkeeper Moises Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Josefina supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Josefina would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
