Nickson FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacarita FC the free kick. The supporters of Chacarita FC booed when Nickson FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Montay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florencio Tartalo scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Primitivo Bizen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 19 played minutes Chacarita FC got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Beltza. Filomeno Piorno hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes, Nickson FC's Celso Bembe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hernan Dorio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nickson FC reached it. After 29 minutes of play, Nickson FC's Hermengildo Basajaun made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Dorio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute, Florencio Tartalo made a precise shot to the right of Primitivo Bizen. Nickson FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The supporters of Nickson FC booed when Chacarita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Beltza didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florencio Tartalo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Higinio Guter reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Primitivo Bizen. The goal made the score 3-3. Hernan Dorio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eleuterio Beremundo went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. 64 minutes into the match, Chacarita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Beremundo came free, but Hernan Dorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Nickson FC got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Montay. After some careless play in the Chacarita FC defense, Hermengildo Basajaun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Dorio. The Chacarita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Dorio should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Beremundo in the 72nd minute of play forced Chacarita FC's goalkeeper Hernan Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chacarita FC's Hernan Dorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Basajaun in the 75th minute of play. Nickson FC's Primitivo Bizen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Nickson FC from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Basajaun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernan Dorio. Chacarita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermengildo Basajaun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-3. Hernan Dorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Basajaun in the 82nd minute of play. Hernan Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Beremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Primitivo Bizen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Guter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute Hermengildo Basajaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Dorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Beremundo in the 90th minute of play forced Chacarita FC's goalkeeper Hernan Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Florencio Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nickson FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
