The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, J.C. J.J. notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ceres FC's Abel Teyo. Abel Teyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. J.C. J.J. fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Teyo having to interfere. Dante Nalo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abel Teyo having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Lázaro Elodio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceres FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lázaro Elodio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Estavan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ceres FC's Abel Teyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.C. J.J. in the 19th minute of play. Abel Teyo came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by SAN MARTIN DE METAN's Eusebio Jurdan. But to his dismay, Eusebio Jurdan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Eusebio Jurdan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Abel Teyo made a huge save. The supporters of SAN MARTIN DE METAN booed when Ceres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Elodio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 minutes of play, SAN MARTIN DE METAN's 庞斐义 made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Teyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Eusebio Jurdan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. SAN MARTIN DE METAN's J.C. J.J. got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If J.C. J.J. had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Nalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, Ceres FC's Carlos Rios dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. The supporters of SAN MARTIN DE METAN booed when Ceres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Bide didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Eusebio Jurdan managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN MARTIN DE METAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Jurdan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee ignored Ceres FC's protests and gave Lázaro Elodio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ceres FC's Lázaro Elodio got a free kick in the 65th minute. J.C. J.J. sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN DE METAN's goalkeeper Delmar Estavan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Rios. Abel Teyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from J.C. J.J. in the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Eusebio Jurdan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Dante Nalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Gerardo Goito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, J.C. J.J. had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Teyo. Ceres FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that J.C. J.J. was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 85th minute of the game, Casimiro Bilintx landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. SAN MARTIN DE METAN's Ovidio Bernal was substituted for Casimiro Bilintx. After 92 minutes of play, SAN MARTIN DE METAN's Eusebio Jurdan made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Teyo was left in no man's land by his defense there!
