Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jacinto Mogel made the kick off and thus started the match. 8 minutes into the match, Chacarita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Mogel came free, but Hernan Dorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Mogel, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Hernan Dorio came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by QFC's Jacinto Mogel. But to his dismay, Jacinto Mogel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, QFC's Victorio Teyo got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Florencio Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Eriberto Suarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chacarita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 32nd match minute, QFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Lucila to maneuver through the defense. Higinio Guter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Alfredo Froila when he managed to save the team from getting behind. QFC's Anibal Erramu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabio Burni, made in the 35th minute of the game. In the 36th minute Jacinto Mogel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Dorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Chacarita FC booed when QFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Spada didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Tartalo got free with Alfredo Froila in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florencio Tartalo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Chacarita FC's Eriberto Suarez got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Jacinto Mogel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernan Dorio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Mogel in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Dorio saved Chacarita FC from getting behind. Hernan Dorio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Mogel in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Romano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. QFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacarita FC the free kick. After 73 played minutes QFC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Romano. Hernan Obeko hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Fabio Burni's late challenge caught a QFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Burni helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chacarita FC's Fabio Burni got a free kick in the 86th minute. The nice shot from Jacinto Mogel in the 88thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Hernan Dorio had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The Chacarita FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing QFC to win.
