Alfredo Froila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Firmo in the 17th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Alfredo Froila successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tomás Firmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 played minutes QFC got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Erramu. QFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Tomás Firmo scored to the left of an out of position Alfredo Froila, making the score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 59 played minutes QFC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Barros. Jacinto Mogel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Raul Nabar made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franco Spada during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to QFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Franco Spada hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in QFC's zone, Rosendo Rivas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Froila came out of the goal and Rosendo Rivas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Dunixi scored 2-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Froila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th match minute, Rocky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Blai to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Rocky booed when QFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Spada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rocky walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
