An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Bernaldo in the 7th minute of play forced La Leona Enleonada's goalkeeper Americo Mede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ubaldo Faron got free with Americo Mede in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Haroldo Dunixi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Americo Mede. La Leona Enleonada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haroldo Dunixi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Americo Mede took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Americo Mede was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Ubaldo Faron capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ubaldo Faron really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Americo Mede showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Faron, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the game, La Leona Enleonada's Braulio Elequemedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artemio Gerazan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 41 minutes into the match, La Leona Enleonada's goalkeeper Americo Mede had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rosendo Cordareo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubaldo Faron in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Americo Mede prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

After 55 minutes of play, Furnarius Rufus's Hernan Tonio made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Americo Mede was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raul Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Artemio Gerazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Leona Enleonada's Americo Mede played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Faron in the 66th minute of play. Jesus Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the La Leona Enleonada defense, Rosendo Cordareo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Americo Mede. The La Leona Enleonada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Americo Mede should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, Haroldo Dunixi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Americo Mede didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubaldo Faron went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Furnarius Rufus's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cornelio Fliz in the 91st minute. A nice corner shot did that Celedonio Belasko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Americo Mede quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of La Leona Enleonada booed when Furnarius Rufus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Cordareo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
