After a defensive mix-up in Facundo's zone, Edgard Rubio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Santxol came out of the goal and Edgard Rubio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaias Luar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Aureliano Abella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to C.A. Sportivo Sabalero getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Feliciano Lore hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Luar in the 11th minute of play forced C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's goalkeeper Aureliano Abella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Santxol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Rubio, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Rubio in the 14th minute of play forced Facundo's goalkeeper Horacio Santxol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Santxol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Rubio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Horacio Santxol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Eduino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Rubio took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Santxol. Horacio Santxol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Edgard Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Rubio in the 27th minute of play forced Facundo's goalkeeper Horacio Santxol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Facundo got a freekick which was hit by Armando Urbez. After having played for 35 minutes, Amador Eduino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Eduino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Eleder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgard Rubio to strike the kick off in the second half. Edgard Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Santxol having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's Amador Eduino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Santxol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Luar in the 62nd minute of play forced C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's goalkeeper Aureliano Abella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aureliano Abella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Aznaro in the 63rd minute of the match. Horacio Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Eleder in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Facundo's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Rubio came free, but Horacio Santxol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horacio Santxol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Rubio in the 69th minute of the match. Horacio Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Rubio in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Eleder in the 82nd minute of play forced Facundo's goalkeeper Horacio Santxol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The C.A. Sportivo Sabalero fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when C.A. Sportivo Sabalero's Edgard Rubio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edgard Rubio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Eleder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Horacio Santxol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.A. Sportivo Sabalero played a much better game than Facundo and deserved their victory. The Facundo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
