After 4 minutes of play, Ferro carril Oeste's Big Mikes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualterio Veto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 8th minute, Ferro carril Oeste's Martin Tome ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gualterio Veto. Gualterio Veto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 12 minutes into the game, Big Mikes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gualterio Veto. Big Mikes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 17 minutes into the match, Edgard Aurken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gualterio Veto. Alpachiri AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Aurken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Gualterio Veto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Cordareo in the 20th minute of the match. Gualterio Veto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicasio Sugoi in the 23rd minute. Gualterio Veto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Giro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Iaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Savier in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Ferro carril Oeste booed when Alpachiri AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Araoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Pedro Cordareo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualterio Veto was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Pedro Cordareo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gualterio Veto having to make a save. 36 minutes into the game, Jorge Richie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alpachiri AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferro carril Oeste the free kick. In the 36th minute, Jorge Richie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ferro carril Oeste's Nicasio Sugoi got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Sixto Mergildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alpachiri AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pedro Cordareo 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Savier in the 46th minute of play forced Ferro carril Oeste's goalkeeper Bernardo Iaki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Cordareo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Pedro Cordareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Veto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualterio Veto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Tome, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Gualterio Veto came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferro carril Oeste's Martin Tome. But to his dismay, Martin Tome quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. Gualterio Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Cordareo in the 94th minute of play. Gualterio Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Heli in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Ferro carril Oeste were the better team. Ferro carril Oeste's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
