If Santo Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as El Oso FC's Victoriano Weather slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teofilo Navarro. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Victoriano Weather took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Teofilo Navarro to make any attempt to save it. If Victoriano Weather had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santo Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gogo Esquipula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rosales getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Epifanio Cristofor hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Peli got free with Teofilo Navarro in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Rosales's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Licerio came free, but Teofilo Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victoriano Weather was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Rosales booed when El Oso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Cordaryal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Feliciano Berdaitz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serafin Montrelle skillfully saved the ball. Serafin Montrelle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Epifanio Cristofor in the 54th minute. The supporters of El Oso FC booed when Rosales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Baleren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victoriano Weather fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Navarro having to interfere. Serafin Montrelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Cebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. A collision led to El Oso FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Esteve Cordaryal hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Ciro Abadie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teofilo Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Peli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santo Licerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. El Oso FC's Santo Licerio got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Ricardo Peli managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Oso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Peli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilo Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Santo Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the El Oso FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
