After a rather tough play, Malvivientes's Angelo Turi got a free kick in the 6th minute. The audience was convinced that Venancio Galo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Elia was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Arnoldo Bautista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Favila in the 10th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Raimundo Favila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malvivientes's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Favila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Bautista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raimundo Favila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Angelo Turi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnoldo Bautista having to make a save. After 29 minutes of play, Malvivientes's Angelo Turi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnoldo Bautista was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raimundo Favila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Arnoldo Bautista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Angelo Turi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Favila in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Bautista prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmiro Emesto to make the kick off. Melquiades Elia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Montrell in the 52nd minute of play. Angelo Turi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Bautista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Raimundo Favila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnoldo Bautista came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Malvivientes's Angelo Turi. But to his dismay, Angelo Turi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Malvivientes getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jonatan Abel hit a great ball. In the 82nd match minute, Malvivientes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Erruki to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Turi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnoldo Bautista having to make a save. If Angelo Turi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rey de Copas getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Herminio Su hit a great ball. Malvivientes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
