After 4 played minutes Empedrado FC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Indalecio. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Empedrado FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fusion FS:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Teobaldo Silviano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fusion FS's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Silviano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Lixandro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Empedrado FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Teodosio Oihan hit a great ball. Tomás Ariando hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebio Peio in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Lixandro saved Empedrado FC from getting behind. After 22 played minutes, Empedrado FC's Evaristo Erlantz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anselmo Quintan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Empedrado FC reached it. When Fulgencio Indalecio came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Empedrado FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Indalecio couldn't finish the play. When Fusion FS's Eusebio Peio in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Empedrado FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Fulgencio Indalecio came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Empedrado FC fans jumped to their feet. Teodosio Oihan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th match minute, Fusion FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Elia to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Quintan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodosio Oihan in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Eusebio Peio made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Lixandro. Empedrado FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fulgencio Indalecio made a kick off. Teobaldo Silviano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Rodrigo Lixandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Quintan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Indalecio in the 56th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Fusion FS's Eusebio Peio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Lixandro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 68 played minutes Empedrado FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Oihan. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Teodosio Oihan managed to get in a good position for a shot. The supporters of Fusion FS booed when Empedrado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Indalecio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fusion FS's Anselmo Quintan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Indalecio in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute Teodosio Oihan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Quintan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodosio Oihan hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebio Peio in the 91st managed to get into a good position.
