After a rather tough play, Mar del Tuyu F.C's Tobias Aballe got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Honorato Romano took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bonifacio Asur. Bonifacio Asur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Cipriano Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Bernardino Elixio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mar del Tuyu F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Elixio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Ruperto Orkatz sped through Anguilan AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cipriano Barbosa. After 46 played minutes Anguilan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Peli. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Higinio Ledesma made a kick off. Higinio Ledesma struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Bonifacio Asur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anguilan AFC. Higinio Ledesma hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ruperto Orkatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mar del Tuyu F.C made a substitution. Aristides Natal replaced Dieguinho Tepedino. In the 67th minute, Hernan Iban made a precise shot to the right of Cipriano Barbosa. Anguilan AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. A sloppy throw-in by Adolfo Suero in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Anguilan AFC's Jeremias Eusko. 75 minutes into the match, Anguilan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Orkatz came free, but Cipriano Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anguilan AFC's Cipriano Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Elixio in the 76th minute of play. Eugenio Peli hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Cipriano Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Orkatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Cipriano Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Iban in the 80th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Anguilan AFC's zone, Ruperto Orkatz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Barbosa came out of the goal and Ruperto Orkatz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mar del Tuyu F.C's Hernan Iban in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jim Valström's late challenge caught a Anguilan AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jim Valström helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Anguilan AFC booed when Mar del Tuyu F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Valström didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mar del Tuyu F.C fully deserved thier win.
