After the first half MINOCA were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, MINOCA's Cirilo Romo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When Yu Zhen Yin fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmeiras's protests and gave Yu Zhen Yin a yellow card for diving instead. Yu Zhen Yin kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Adrian Otsando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fulgencio Hori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Oliveiro in the 59th minute of play. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
