Marco Macerio kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Candelaria FC's Prospero Jaunti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Pes in the 16th minute of play. Guillermo Blai scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Lastur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the game, Zacarias Pere cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alfonso Lastur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Ricardo Pes took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Prospero Jaunti to make any attempt to save it. Zacarias Pere's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Lastur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, ELMASGRANDE's Nicolas Moise ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Prospero Jaunti. Prospero Jaunti yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Zacarias Pere hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Moise in the 43rd minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Prospero Jaunti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Maureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Jaunti having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo Pes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ricardo Pes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prospero Jaunti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Maureo in the 53rd minute of the match. Alfonso Lastur made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Guillermo Blai sent off a good shot on target. ELMASGRANDE's Alfonso Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Pere in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Zacarias Pere reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alfonso Lastur. The goal made the score 2-3. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Ricardo Pes sped through Candelaria FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Prospero Jaunti. Prospero Jaunti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Pes went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute Godfredo Maureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Jaunti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ELMASGRANDE fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when ELMASGRANDE's Ricardo Pes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. ELMASGRANDE's Ricardo Pes got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Prospero Jaunti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Moise in the 88th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ELMASGRANDE's zone, Zacarias Pere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Lastur came out of the goal and Zacarias Pere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Lastur came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Candelaria FC's Guillermo Blai. But to his dismay, Guillermo Blai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4. There was no doubt that ELMASGRANDE were the better team. ELMASGRANDE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
