Tadeo Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Jaunti having to interfere. Melih İstanbullu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prospero Jaunti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Arotza in the 30th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Prospero Jaunti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute, Tobias Guifre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Arotza came free, but Prospero Jaunti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sportivo Mendocretenence's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Arotza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeo Arotza was the one to do the kick off.
