The supporters of RC Celta de Vigo booed when Loma Negra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Raymond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Sindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Maiorga in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, RC Celta de Vigo's Jeronimo Silvanito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Constantino Sindo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 18 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Silvanito notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Loma Negra's Constantino Sindo. Constantino Sindo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Constantino Sindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Silvanito, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Constantino Sindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Dantae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, one of RC Celta de Vigo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Guillermo Tino walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 32nd minute, Filomeno Veronica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, RC Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Arda İlter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimeno Txomin. In the 38th minute, Jeronimo Silvanito made a precise shot to the right of Constantino Sindo. Loma Negra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. When Leandro Maiorga came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the RC Celta de Vigo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Maiorga couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Guillermo Tino made the kick off in the second half. If Guillermo Tino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Sindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nicasio Sayveon fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RC Celta de Vigo's protests and gave Nicasio Sayveon a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for RC Celta de Vigo! In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Loma Negra. Guillermo Tino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arda İlter. 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filomeno Veronica during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Constantino Sindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Veronica in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Sanchez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Constantino Sindo, 1-5. 80 minutes into the match, Loma Negra's goalkeeper Constantino Sindo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filomeno Dantae. Constantino Sindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Sanchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Maiorga in the 87th minute of play forced Loma Negra's goalkeeper Constantino Sindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Sanchez got free with Constantino Sindo in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jimeno Txomin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeronimo Silvanito's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Constantino Sindo firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 95th minute, Jeronimo Silvanito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantino Sindo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6.
