Arda İlter came out of the goal and Damian Leoiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the game, Damian Leoiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arda İlter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorenzo Escobar might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arda İlter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Escobar ran back to his position shaking his head. Raimundo Tibalt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno Dantae in the 13th minute. Raimundo Tibalt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Maiorga in the 18th minute of play. If Lorenzo Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeronimo Silvanito hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Damian Leoiar scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arda İlter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lorenzo Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Sanchez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raimundo Tibalt, 1-3.

Raimundo Tibalt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filomeno Dantae's late challenge caught a ExEmpleados Asociados's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filomeno Dantae helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to RC Celta de Vigo getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Filomeno Dantae hit a great ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Damian Leoiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ExEmpleados Asociados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Leoiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inocencio Maurin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the ExEmpleados Asociados defense, Filomeno Dantae kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Tibalt. The ExEmpleados Asociados fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Tibalt should have stopped the shot. Raimundo Tibalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Filomeno Dantae was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. In the 71st minute, Filomeno Dantae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 75 minutes, Leandro Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RC Celta de Vigo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Maiorga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ExEmpleados Asociados were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
