Alfredo Giacomini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Cidro in the 12th minute of the match. Alverso Fc's Clodoveo Iyan got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Cidro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Alverso Fc's Alfredo Giacomini. Alfredo Giacomini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eugenio Dominic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Giacomini having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Alverso Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Lizer to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Alverso Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Maties came free, but Alfredo Giacomini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Giacomini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Dominic in the 32nd minute of play. Alfredo Giacomini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irinel Jienescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Dolfo in the 40th minute of play forced Alverso Fc's goalkeeper Alfredo Giacomini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnoldo Cidro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Inocencio Dolfo could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Alfredo Giacomini however easily saved by the left post. In the 78th minute, Eugenio Dominic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Giacomini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. A collision led to Haile Selassie getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Inocencio Dolfo hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Alverso Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Dominic came free, but Alfredo Giacomini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Nicasio Pitin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Oinatz. Haile Selassie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicasio Pitin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Alfredo Giacomini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Cidro in the 96th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnoldo Cidro in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Giacomini prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
