But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Lugo couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Gutierrez charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Gutierrez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes London FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Gutierrez. 11 minutes into the match, Tierra Fertil's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Urti came free, but Hilario Valerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amador Ascencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Placido Ellande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Placido Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Jakue in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Amador Ascencio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tierra Fertil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 21st minute, Francisco Weterio made a precise shot to the right of Placido Ellande. London FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some careless play in the London FC defense, Fabricio Lugo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Placido Ellande. The London FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Ellande should have stopped the shot. Placido Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Ascencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Martin Ramone lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. London FC's Guillermo Muno couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tierra Fertil. 37 minutes into the game, Amador Ascencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tierra Fertil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave London FC the free kick. After 38 played minutes Tierra Fertil got a freekick which was hit by Amador Ascencio. In the 39th minute, Cecilio Hug left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tierra Fertil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 43rd minute, Sixto Lico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hilario Valerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Urti, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Faustino Serafo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustino Serafo was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, London FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Urti to maneuver through the defense. After 57 minutes London FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cecilio Hug who took care of the corner kick. Cecilio Hug made a great header on Tierra Fertil's corner, it was just that London FC's Placido Ellande managed to reach the ball for a save. Placido Ellande made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Jakue in the 59th minute. Fabricio Lugo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Placido Ellande made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Tierra Fertil's Cecilio Hug slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Placido Ellande. That made the score 0-8 after 84 minutes of play. Placido Ellande made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Cecilio Hug sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, London FC's Placido Ellande got control of the ball when Fabricio Lugo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Placido Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Hug, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The London FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tierra Fertil were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
