A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Paulo Opilano hit a great ball. Gervasio Orlo took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonides Katia. Leonides Katia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Gilberto Manuelo came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Tehuelches FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Manuelo couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nunez Gelmiro during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Nunez Gelmiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Gelmiro. Cabbar Özsan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gervasio Orlo in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Katia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonides Katia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelian Brăiloiu in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Nunez Gelmiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Katia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Brăiloiu in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Orlo in the 39th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Leonides Katia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdurrezzak Balkanlıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Stanislao in the 42nd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gervasio Orlo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Cabbar Özsan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Katia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stelian Brăiloiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nunez Gelmiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Nunez Gelmiro hit a great ball. If Stelian Brăiloiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tehuelches FC's Eulalio Arixo got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gogo Stanislao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdurrezzak Balkanlıoğlu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gervasio Orlo in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Katia saved River Plate from getting behind. In the 77th minute, Gogo Stanislao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 minutes of play River Plate's Gogo Stanislao was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gogo Stanislao kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The throw-in from Pawel Sobolewski in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by River Plate's Paulo Opilano. Alfredo Loreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stelian Brăiloiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonides Katia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stelian Brăiloiu ran back to his position shaking his head. Tehuelches FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
