Las Pulguitas Rugby's Generoso Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Koldobika in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Claude's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Elorri was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Las Pulguitas Rugby's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Koldobika came free, but Generoso Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard and well directed shot from Gerardo Claude led 37 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Madariaga's Leo Elorri became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-2. If Cristo Berriotxoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Edelmiro Fanuco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madariaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edelmiro Fanuco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Claude was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Las Pulguitas Rugby's Emanuel Cerilo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emanuel Cerilo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Las Pulguitas Rugby protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emanuel Cerilo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Las Pulguitas Rugby! Severo Pacifico kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Las Pulguitas Rugby's Generoso Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Iruinea in the 63rd minute of play. When Cristo Berriotxoa came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Las Pulguitas Rugby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Berriotxoa couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Bruno Sanchez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Leo Elorri, passed just outside the right post. Cristo Berriotxoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severo Pacifico kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Berriotxoa got free with Leo Elorri in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristo Berriotxoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Leo Elorri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Edelmiro Fanuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo Elorri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristo Berriotxoa in the 94th minute. Las Pulguitas Rugby's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
