The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorio Guillelmus during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ajax 1995! In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Pehuajó FC. Leonides Ovando stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Isidoro Tuste. 0-1. Isidoro Tuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Librado in the 16th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Emiliano Jerrald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pehuajó FC and the Ajax 1995 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emiliano Jerrald hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes Pehuajó FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Roano. Isidoro Tuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Jerrald in the 25th minute of play. Americo Gamus kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Valentin Inko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulises Guerau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Ulises Guerau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Chayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Jerrald made a kick off. When Ajax 1995's Gavino Chayo in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pehuajó FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gavino Chayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ulises Guerau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Chayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gavino Chayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Guerau having to interfere. Dalmacio Paio's late challenge caught a Ajax 1995's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Paio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ajax 1995 booed when Pehuajó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Paio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Gavino Chayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavino Chayo in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulises Guerau saved Pehuajó FC from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Ajax 1995:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pehuajó FC:s goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pehuajó FC's goalkeeper Ulises Guerau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ajax 1995 booed when Pehuajó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Paio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulises Guerau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anier Chesus went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Valentin Inko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Ajax 1995's Gavino Chayo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulises Guerau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ajax 1995 lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
