Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the match, Edgardo Bryant notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Yacuchina's Ezequiel Perutxo. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Hanot got free with Júlio Vasconcelos in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 22 played minutes Yacuchina got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Veremundo. In the 23rd minute of the match Paolo Magdaleno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezequiel Perutxo skillfully saved the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Flavio Lartaun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Júlio Vasconcelos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Patricio Vistruario came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Club Atletico River Plate fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Bryant in the 59th minute of play forced Yacuchina's goalkeeper Ezequiel Perutxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Esteve Oriche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Júlio Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Hanot in the 97th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Hanot in the 99th minute of play forced Club Atletico River Plate's goalkeeper Júlio Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atletico River Plate played a much better game than Yacuchina and deserved their victory. The Yacuchina players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
