The referee showed Edgardo Tirso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Democracia y Golf Pampa getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Edgardo Tirso hit a great ball. Freddy Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 秦霆松, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Jesus Quintana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Freddy Medero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gimnasia de Mendoza's Jurand Sala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo George in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Democracia y Golf Pampa's goal looked a bit too open when 秦霆松 came free, but Freddy Medero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gimnasia de Mendoza booed when Democracia y Golf Pampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. The coaching staff of Gimnasia de Mendoza protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fabio Chumo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 94 minutes into the game, one of Gimnasia de Mendoza:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 97 minutes into the match, Esteban Aresti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jurand Sala. Gimnasia de Mendoza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Aresti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gimnasia de Mendoza had played much better football throughout.
