Jaime Gartzea was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 5th minute, Esteban Aresti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Democracia y Golf Pampa's Freddy Medero got control of the ball when Marcos Raebert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Freddy Darien charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddy Darien the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Freddy Darien kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 15thth minute of the game Esteban Aresti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club 9 de julio's Jaime Gartzea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Diagur in the 18th minute of play forced Club 9 de julio's goalkeeper Jaime Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Aresti scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaime Gartzea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26thth minute of the game Ladislao Diagur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club 9 de julio's Jaime Gartzea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cirilo George sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jaime Gartzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Aresti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ladislao Diagur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Esteban Aresti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Democracia y Golf Pampa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Democracia y Golf Pampa's goalkeeper Freddy Medero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club 9 de julio's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacinto Astudillo in the 40th minute. Club 9 de julio's Jacinto Astudillo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Freddy Medero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 44th minute Esteban Aresti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Gartzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Ladislao Diagur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaime Gartzea. Club 9 de julio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ladislao Diagur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Marcos Raebert made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Club 9 de julio getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Joel Maore hit a great ball. Club 9 de julio's Jaime Gartzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo George in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Democracia y Golf Pampa's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Raebert came free, but Freddy Medero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes, Cirilo George mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Democracia y Golf Pampa and the Club 9 de julio players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Democracia y Golf Pampa's Cirilo George got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Freddy Medero came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Club 9 de julio's Marcos Raebert. But to his dismay, Marcos Raebert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The audience was convinced that Esteban Aresti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Gartzea was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. A collision led to Club 9 de julio getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ernesto Ferrer hit a great ball. A collision led to Club 9 de julio getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Joel Maore hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Club 9 de julio's goalkeeper Jaime Gartzea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Diagur. Ladislao Diagur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Jaime Gartzea made a huge save. Jaime Gartzea made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ladislao Diagur sent off a good shot on target. Democracia y Golf Pampa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
