Júlio Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Cuartio in the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Eugenio Katia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cornelio Cuartio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Bryant in the 54th minute of play forced Eletricos's goalkeeper Felix Loreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Eletricos's zone, Patricio Vistruario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Loreto came out of the goal and Patricio Vistruario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgardo Bryant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
