In the 21st minute, Manfredo Sá fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Desiderio Faro, passed just outside the right post. Joaquin Ovando was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. LOA FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, LOA FC's Denis Segio got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute Isaac Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Mikelats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isaac Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfredo Sá took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Desiderio Faro. Desiderio Faro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, LOA FC's Denis Segio got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Elcho F.C.'s Desiderio Faro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Elcho F.C. from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgardo Bembe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Manfredo Sá came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the LOA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manfredo Sá couldn't finish the play. After 53 played minutes LOA FC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Donostia. 56 minutes into the game, LOA FC's Manfredo Sá nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Desiderio Faro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Manfredo Sá's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Faro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Epifanio Ferran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Ismael Donostia in the 67th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Desiderio Faro's left hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Elcho F.C.'s zone, Manfredo Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Faro came out of the goal and Manfredo Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manfredo Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfredo Sá in the 77th minute of play forced Elcho F.C.'s goalkeeper Desiderio Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Jonatan Berasko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elcho F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LOA FC the free kick. In the 77th minute, Jonatan Berasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Manfredo Sá made a precise shot to the right of Desiderio Faro. Elcho F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Manfredo Sá blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desiderio Faro having to make a save. Elcho F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
