The crowd rose to their feet as PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS's Rexino Salva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albino Ladio. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. After 28 minutes of play, Carnerillo's Angel Gaueko made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Benino was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute, Angel Gaueko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albino Abadie scored 1-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Benino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Rexino Salva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angel Gaueko made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Albino Abadie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oscar Benino. PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albino Abadie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. When Clemente Mederi fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS's protests and gave Clemente Mederi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Clemente Mederi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Clemente Mederi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. Oscar Benino came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Carnerillo's Lorenzo Domingues. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Domingues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. When the final whistle sounded Carnerillo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PUNTA ALTA WARRIORS.
