Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gabriel-Omar Batistuta kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute of the game Baldomero Ur made a throw-in which Julian Benet played forward. Gabriel-Omar Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Carlsen getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gabriel-Omar Batistuta hit a great ball. Joel Avellaneda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateo Schellekens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Carlsen's Fernando Monetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Gergori in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Julian Gergori's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Monetti was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. When Esteve Guillelme fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carlsen's protests and gave Esteve Guillelme a yellow card for diving instead. 30 minutes into the match, Rangel's goalkeeper Mateo Schellekens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel-Omar Batistuta. Joel Avellaneda kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Julian Gergori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oscar Alvarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Monetti having to make a save. After having played for 38 minutes, Julian Gergori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rangel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Gergori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlsen's Fernando Monetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Gergori in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Oscar Alvarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fernando Monetti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Oscar Alvarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Fernando Monetti made a huge save. After 62 minutes Carlsen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Laureano Seber who took care of the corner kick. 63 minutes in the game, Julian Gergori dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Ambrosio Cordarius took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Fernando Monetti to make any attempt to save it. Carlsen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Angelino Rey scored to the left of an out of position Fernando Monetti, making the score, 0-4. In the 96th match minute, Carlsen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufus Carter to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Monetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the match was over Rangel could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carlsen throughout the match.
