The referee ignored Alpino's protests and gave Anıl Ozan Nezih a yellow card for diving instead. Olimpiu Andrițoiu made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Yoash Hammerstein sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Bilardo in the 60th minute of play forced Deportivo Madera's goalkeeper Olimpiu Andrițoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Dionisio Musko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adelio Jubera was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game.
