Domingo Nardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Benedicto Oihan made a huge save. Cristo Ramond struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Hernan Gabino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uribelarrea AFC. 18 minutes into the game, Nestor Hustaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uribelarrea AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cangallo AFC the free kick. In the 18th minute, Nestor Hustaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingo Nardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Uribelarrea AFC's goalkeeper Benedicto Oihan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardino Unai was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Cangallo AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 26th match minute, Cangallo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Sauveur to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Bernardino Unai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Oihan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rodrigo Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Ismael Millano from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Benedicto Oihan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Domingo Nardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Uribelarrea AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristo Ramond made a kick off. Hernan Gabino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Loi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, Cangallo AFC's Hernan Gabino got control of the ball when Rodrigo Loi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Pastor Rudolfo fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uribelarrea AFC's protests and gave Pastor Rudolfo a yellow card for diving instead. Ismael Millano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benedicto Oihan. Uribelarrea AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Cangallo AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Bernardino Unai hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Luisito Esquipula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Gabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Ramond in the 67th minute of play. If Bernardino Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Oihan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Unai in the 72nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Uribelarrea AFC's zone, Domingo Nardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Oihan came out of the goal and Domingo Nardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Uribelarrea AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Unai came free, but Benedicto Oihan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedicto Oihan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Unai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cangallo AFC's Bernardino Unai got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Domingo Nardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uribelarrea AFC's Benedicto Oihan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Unai in the 92nd minute of play. Cangallo AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ismael Millano in the 98th minute. After taking down the ball on Cangallo AFC's corner Lino Errapel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benedicto Oihan quite easily take care of the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Uribelarrea AFC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Cangallo AFC side.
