Teobaldo Bembe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elvio Baudelio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Elvio Baudelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Nardo in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uraguey's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ismael Millano was slow to take the kick. During this time Cangallo AFC's players had a chance to rest. Cangallo AFC's Lino Errapel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elvio Baudelio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Ricardo Gonzo fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cangallo AFC's protests and gave Ricardo Gonzo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cangallo AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ricardo Gonzo hit a great ball. If Teobaldo Bembe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Herensuge to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Hernan Gabino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Herensuge got free with Hernan Gabino in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Bembe in the 56th minute of play forced Uraguey's goalkeeper Elvio Baudelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Cangallo AFC defense, Rene Herensuge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Gabino. The Cangallo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Gabino should have stopped the shot. Casimiro Conrao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cangallo AFC's zone, Rene Herensuge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Gabino came out of the goal and Rene Herensuge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cangallo AFC's Hernan Gabino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Cangallo AFC from getting a goal against them. The Uraguey players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cangallo AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
