Tiburones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Domenec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Omar Ubelteso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Regina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiburones the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Regina's Omar Ubelteso got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Amado Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Tiburones's Amado Domenec in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético Regina's goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th minute, Leonel Bernaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A well placed Amado Domenec short distance shot in the 21st minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 25th minute Placido Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Olayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cirilo Dabi scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victorino Olayo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luis Gorosti kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Liu Bin Nan suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iker Indartsu during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Club Atlético Regina's Geronimo Rico was substituted for Liu Bin Nan. Iker Indartsu hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amado Domenec to strike the kick off in the second half. Amado Domenec struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Nicanor Eudoxio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiburones. Tiburones's Victorino Olayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Dabi in the 69th minute of play. Luis Azubeli hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Iker Indartsu kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Domenec in the 86th minute of play forced Club Atlético Regina's goalkeeper Nicanor Eudoxio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tiburones's Leonel Bernaldo got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute, Cirilo Dabi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victorino Olayo. The goal made the score 1-2. When the match was over Club Atlético Regina could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tiburones throughout the match.
